Australia sends troops to help contain coronavirus on cargo ship

 Australian soldiers are being deployed to Port Hedland, one of the world’s largest iron ore loading ports, to help contain a coronavirus outbreak on a bulk carrier that last changed crews in the seafaring city of Manila.


Seventeen of the 21-crew members on the ship have tested positive for the virus, ship owner Oldendorff Carriers said in a statement.

Skywhale hot air balloon grounded after developing tear 'in one of her breasts'

Canberra hot air balloon sculpture Skywhale has been grounded and is set to undergo repairs after developing a tear "in one of her breasts" in Ballarat this weekend. The famous balloon and its partner, Skywhalepapa, were both in Ballarat as part of the touring Every Heart Sings project, but were deflated before lift-off due to the damage Skywhale sustained.
