No fresh air and £27,000 fines: Inside Australia's strict (but luxurious) 14-day hotel quarantine

My 10-month-old son hasn't breathed fresh air for 11 days. As keen as I am to afford him that basic pleasure, it simply is not possible.

Standing between us and open space are Australian Government-employed security guards and a £27,000 fine for leaving the Perth hotel room where we're doing the mandatory 14-night quarantine for all residents who return to Australia.
